Central Church
Summary
Wave was brought on to design and implement a multi-space production environment at Central Church, spanning a flagship recording studio, a dedicated video studio, a middle school worship room, live translation suites, and audio reinforcement for the church’s gymnasium. Each space was approached with its own acoustic, lighting, and workflow demands in mind, while keeping the overall system cohesive and built to professional standards.
The centerpiece of the project is a full-scale recording studio anchored by a 200-person live room engineered for full choir tracking, giving the church the rare ability to capture large ensemble performances in-house. Two additional tracking rooms — one tuned for vocals, one for instruments — provide isolated, flexible recording spaces, all feeding into a control room outfitted with everything a producer needs to mix, monitor, and deliver finished work. Complementing the audio side is a 30×30 video studio lit with ARRI fixtures, purpose-built for broadcast-quality capture, plus four dedicated translation rooms that allow worship services to be interpreted live into four separate languages.
Beyond the production core, Wave delivered a 150-seat middle school room designed for an energetic worship environment and installed a loudspeaker system in the gymnasium to bring clear, even coverage to the church’s largest multipurpose space. The result is a connected ecosystem that supports everything from intimate vocal sessions to full-room events and multilingual live services under one roof.

Working with Wave from concept to completion of LivingSound Studio has been one of the most amazing experiences of our ministry. From the early dream sessions with Paul Henderson, Rick Russell, and Ron Aldridge, where the vision started to take shape, to the final stages of onboarding and occupation alongside Patrick, Jarrett, Mike, and Dusten – it has been world class every step of the way. Patrick Trombly deserves a special mention. As our project manager, he was exceptional – organized, communicative, and always on top of every detail. But beyond his professional excellence, Patrick has genuinely become a good friend. We are grateful for both his expertise and his friendship.
That being said, the entire Wave team is without question at the tip of the spear in their field, and yet they are also among the kindest, most considerate people you will ever work with. We can’t say enough good things about this company and the men who poured themselves into making our dreams a reality.
LivingSound Studio is now ready to be a hub of creativity where great and anointed music will be made – music created for one purpose above all else: to glorify the Lord. We are beyond grateful to Wave for helping us build a space worthy of that calling.
