Summary

This traditional Baptist Church had a growing contemporary service and needed a space that provided the atmosphere for a modern experience.

With a goal for providing a vibrant, engaging worship service, vocal clarity became top priority. Auditory details are more easily understood when vocalizations have vibrato, and the congregation relies on worship leaders and pastors to guide them through the hour-long programming. Along with acoustics and sound design, we also provided video and lighting in the room to provide a complete immersive experiences for the audiences senses.

We partnered with the architect early, and worked with them to shape the room to provide a great setting audibly and visually. The client was able to experience their room’s sound before it was even built. This prevented the client from needing to add acoustics on the walls later. The selection of d&b speakers was based on their suitability for the area, and Fulcrum Immersive was implemented to provide an immersive experience. We then provided a cloud design to improve audience engagement and congregational singing. The client was so pleased with the results that we are in process of completing AVL design for their traditional sanctuary on the same campus.
