Seacoast Church
Summary
When one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing multi-site churches needed to expand their flagship Mount Pleasant, SC campus, Wave delivered a comprehensive audio, video, lighting, and acoustics solution for their new 2,500-seat worship center. Working in close collaboration with the project architect from the earliest design stages, Wave engineered an acoustic strategy that maximized seating capacity across three levels while accommodating exposed concrete walls and floors, reducing construction costs without sacrificing performance. The result is a fully immersive worship experience where every seat receives a matched, balanced audio mix paired with immersive audio processing, custom acoustic panel integration, and a precision-tuned loudspeaker system. Immersive audio technology gives Seacoast’s audio engineers real-time control over the acoustical environment for each individual sound source. The facility also serves as Seacoast Church’s primary live broadcast hub, streaming worship experiences to more than 15 campuses throughout the Southeast.

Wave came alongside us to create a space where people can have a great experience, no matter where they sit. That’s an important thing for churches to accomplish – no matter how many seats they have in their venue. I have so much confidence mixing in this space because I know that I’m not fighting the room to get the sound I want. I can mix from FOH and know that everyone in the sanctuary is hearing the same thing, and I can use that same mix for our broadcast mix.
